Worcester
Worcester, about an hour and a half from Cape Town on the N1, is the centre of a wide stretch of the Breede River valley that takes in the Nuy Valley, the R43 towards Villiersdorp and the Hex River valley at De Doorns. It is known for Chenin Blanc, Colombar, fortified wines and brandy, mostly from large cellars founded between the 1940s and 1960s, and several pair tastings with platters, chocolate or a meal.
