Iona's vineyards sit at 420 metres above sea level in the Elgin highlands, where the proximity to the cold Atlantic Ocean, sea breezes, and complex soils create one of South Africa's coolest growing sites, allowing grapes to ripen slowly and develop distinctive aromatic complexity and balance.
