About
A cellar on Main Road in Villiersdorp, at the heart of the Theewaterskloof ward, founded in 1922 as a co-operative making grape must jam and juice concentrate. Wine grapes followed once the Theewaterskloof dam brought irrigation in the early 1980s, and winemaker Christo Versfeld makes the Slow, Villiersdorp Winery and Heritage ranges. The tasting room is at the cellar in the village.
