About
Nestled on the slopes of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains overlooking the Paarl Valley, Avondale is a family-run estate farmed since 1694 that specializes in handcrafted organic wines shaped by biodynamic farming practices and minimal-intervention winemaking. The estate's philosophy of "Terra Est Vita"—Earth is Life—guides every aspect of production, from nurturing soils to encouraging biodiversity, resulting in wines that authentically express their natural terroir.
