About
A small family winery in the white Old Stal building on the R315 as you drive into Yzerfontein, run by Andries and Marinda Blake and their son Van der Bijl. Andries, a Swartland winemaker since 1995, makes the Amethyst and Tourmaline blends, a Chenin Blanc and a Malbec from grapes he sources in the Swartland and Philadelphia, plus the easy-drinking 16 Mile Beach range named after the town's beach. The tasting room, House of Blake's, also serves handmade pizza, sushi and platters put together from its deli.
