About
Nestled in the furthest reaches of Franschhoek Valley, Boekenhoutskloof has been rooted in its namesake ravine since 1776, and after its restoration in 1993 has become known as a distinctive Syrah specialist producing wines ranging from the premium Boekenhoutskloof range to the Chocolate Block blend and accessible everyday offerings. The estate's diverse portfolio across Rhône-style varietals reflects both its rich terroir and a commitment to winemaking that honors the pioneering spirit of the valley's early settlers.
