About
The farm where wine growing around Plettenberg Bay began, beside the N2 in The Crags about 20 km east of town: the first Sauvignon Blanc vines went in here in 2000, and the cellar followed in 2010. Now owned by Elana van Rooyen and Sally van der Riet, it is known for Cap Classique, including one made only from Sauvignon Blanc, alongside still Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The restaurant among the vines serves tapas-style plates daily with views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, and packs picnic baskets.
