About
The Briers-Louw family's farm in Agter-Paarl, named in 1693, where seventh-generation farmer and Cape Wine Master Janno Briers-Louw makes small batches from dryland vineyards, among them Chenin Blanc from old bush vines, Cinsaut, Grenache Noir, Pinotage and Shiraz. Tastings are by appointment. The farmstead keeps a pioneer dwelling from before 1693 and a 1793 Cape Dutch house with its bell tower, and the farm hosts weddings and events.
