About
An 18th-century farm in the Darling Hills, where the Pentz family grows vines on the cool, south-facing slopes of the Kapokberg overlooking the Atlantic. The range runs from Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Cap Classique to Shiraz and the Old Man's Blend, and the tasting room serves cheese and charcuterie boards all week and, from Wednesday to Sunday, a burger made with beef from the farm's own Angus herd. Two-hour morning farm drives, booked ahead, cross a 2,000-hectare game camp of renosterveld and fynbos with eland, bontebok and giraffe.
