About

The van Zijl family winery on the farm Uitkyk outside Wellington, which also grows its own rootstock and makes the Shortwood, Van Zijl, Du Plevaux and Pomüla ranges from Wellington and other Cape regions. Tastings, which need booking, come with platters and pizzas by the fireplace or on the lawn, and there are picnics under the trees and a jungle gym for children.
