About
A small farm in Devon Valley, about 8 km from Stellenbosch, owned by Fred and Rosmarie Ruest and named after a castle near Winterthur in Switzerland. It makes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and the 33 Latitude blend of all three, plus a Chenin Blanc. Tastings of five wines with biltong, nuts and olives are by arrangement, and the fee goes to schools the farm supports in the valley.
