About
A large estate on Lourensford Road outside Somerset West, once part of neighbouring Vergelegen, where winemaking was revived after Christo Wiese bought the farm in 1998; cellarmaster Hannes Nel makes the Limited Release, The Dome, River Garden and Cap Classique ranges. The tasting room beside the Millhouse Kitchen offers tastings and pairings with nougat or Belgian chocolate, and the estate has a coffee roastery, shops, mountain-bike trails and a market on Friday evenings and weekends.
