About
A farm on the slopes of the Simonsberg, off the R44 near Klapmuts, bought in 2004 by a family that also owns wine estates in Bordeaux. Winemaker Jos van Wyk makes French-style reds such as Floreal and Desirade, along with Pinotage, Sauvignon Blanc and rosé, in two small cellars on the farm. The tasting room offers wine and biltong pairings and a vertical tasting of Floreal, cellar tours and barrel tastings can be booked, and there are guest-house rooms among the vines.
