About
Perched on the mineral-rich slopes of the Bottelary Hills with views toward Cape Town, Mooiplaas is a historic working estate dating to 1806 that combines a beautifully preserved Cape Dutch manor house with 70 hectares dedicated to Fynbos conservation. Under the stewardship of viticulturist Tielman and winemaker Louis Roos, the estate produces environmentally conscious wines crafted through artisan techniques that express the distinctive terroir of its ancient soils.
