About
Perched in the upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus, Newton Johnson is a family-owned estate where sloped vineyards facing the cold Atlantic produce distinctive Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs shaped by granite soils and maritime influences. Under the stewardship of winemakers Gordon and Nadia Newton Johnson, the vineyard crafts wines of purity and natural expression, free from modern convention, that reflect the distinctive character of their Walker Bay terroir.
