About
Overgaauw Wine Estate is rooted in four generations of pioneering winemaking on 90 hectares of distinctive Stellenbosch terroir, where the Van Velden family has shaped South African wine history through innovations including the country's first Bordeaux blend and single-varietal Merlot. The estate remains committed to honoring both its heritage and the unique character of its land, believing that preserving what is distinctive will naturally yield greatness.
