About
Peter and Vicky Gent's Jersey dairy farm at Harkerville, between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, on a hilltop off Fisanthoek Road with indigenous forest to the north; the vines went in in 2006, and Sollie Sauerman makes the wines with Vicky. The small range of Cap Classique, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc is poured on weekdays, outdoors on warm days or in the tasting area overlooking the farm. Lunch is a farmhouse cheese board made with milk from the farm's own cows, and there's a cottage for two to rent.
