About
Post House Vineyards sits on a ridge between Somerset West and Stellenbosch, offering panoramic views across False Bay and the Helderberg Mountains from a homestead that once served as the region's post office in the early 1900s. The estate is known for its distinctively dark wines, crafted through traditional methods including natural yeast fermentation and basket pressing, with minimal intervention in the winemaking process to let the combination of terroir and technique speak for itself.
