About
A family farm at Breërivier in the Breedekloof, high on the slopes of the Waaihoek mountains below Silkbush Peak, planted from 2000 by Anton and Franci Roos and their American partner Dave Jefferson. Its vineyards, between 430 and 730 metres, grow 14 varieties, and the Silkbush wines include Pinotage, Shiraz, Grenache Noir, Pinot Noir, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. Tastings of six wines are by appointment on weekdays, and Kingsbury Cottage on the farm can be rented.
