Breedekloof
The Breedekloof lies beyond the Du Toitskloof mountains, about an hour from Cape Town on the N1 through the Huguenot Tunnel, around Rawsonville, Goudini and the Slanghoek valley. It is known for Chenin Blanc, which the Breedekloof Makers have bottled side by side from old and single vineyards since 2014. Family estates and large co-operative cellars cluster along the R101 and the Slanghoek road, with a few more up the R43 towards Wolseley.
