About
Skilpadvlei, a family-owned estate in Stellenbosch with roots reaching back to 1917, takes its name from a colony of tortoises that once inhabited the vlei, a heritage now upheld by fourth-generation winemaker Willie Joubert through organically grown grapes and a commitment to quality. Set on land rich with history and character, the estate offers not only distinctive wines but also a welcoming farm experience that blends viticulture with hospitality.
