About
Tempel Wines, housed in a Cape Dutch cottage dating to 1784, crafts hand-picked Mediterranean wines—Cinsaut, Shiraz, Grenache, Mouvèdre, and Tempranillo—that express the distinctive character of Paarl's soils and climate through a lighter, naturally fermented style. Set against views of Paarl Mountain and the Berg River, the estate combines its working cellar adorned with South African street art with intimate accommodation, offering visitors a pastoral immersion in the region's winemaking heritage.
