About

A farm on Annandale Road on the slopes of the Helderberg, established as Groenerivier in 1693, with a Cape Dutch homestead and cellar dating from 1786. It makes small quantities of Cap Classique, rosé, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and the Bastian blend, tasted with cheese, chocolate and savoury pairings in the barrel room or the vinoteque, or among the vines in season. The restaurant is open daily from 7am to 5pm, and the farm has guest rooms and cottages and hosts weddings.
