About

A family-owned heritage farm in the Blouvlei area of Wellington, first granted in 1777, below the peaks of the Hawequa mountains. Winemaker Friedrich Kühne makes wine from certified heritage vineyards, the oldest of them Chenin Blanc and Cinsault planted in 1974 and Carignan from 1979; tastings are by appointment, and Die Werf has guest suites on the farm.
