About

Colin and Angela Wilson's family farm in the lower valley of The Crags, on Palmiet Drift Road off Redford Road, named after the Whiskey Creek, a tributary of the Keurbooms River that feeds its vines. Anton Smal makes small batches with native yeasts and little intervention: a Chenin Blanc, a dry Pinotage rosé and a Premier Pinotage, the route's first wines from either grape. Farm visits are by appointment, and the wines can also be tasted at the Beau de Jour café at Bramon on the N2.
