About
Nestled in the cool-climate Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge, La Vierge was founded two decades ago on the conviction that terroir speaks most clearly through purity—Peter Clarke planted dryland vineyards on virgin soils in a natural amphitheatre where each block's unique exposure yields layered, complex fruit. The estate's thoughtful cellar work allows the wines to express the full character of their site and vintage.
