About
A growers' cellar on the R62 about 20 km from Montagu towards Barrydale, home since 2010 to Montagu Wine & Spirits, which carries on the Muscadel of Montagu's old Uitvlucht cellar. Winemaker Henk Wentzel makes the John Montagu range, from Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Merlot and Shiraz to red and white Muscadel and pot-still brandy, and the tasting room looks out over the mountains.
